Job Description

Would you like to advance your career as a Radiology Technician in Sweden? We are looking for professionals to join the Public Healthcare in Bollnäs and the Radiology Department in Söderhamn.

What’s offered:

A free intensive Swedish language course, with two options:

  1. Campus course: Free apartment for you and your family, all costs covered, kindergarten/language course for children, and €800 monthly scholarship.
  2. Online course: For you and your partner, €1,000 monthly scholarship.
  • Guidance and support throughout the integration and relocation process, including assistance with: finding housing, registering children in school/kindergarten, social security, medical cards, bank accounts, spouse job search, and moving logistics.
  • Start of employment: Flexible, as coordinated through MediCarrera program.

Salary and Conditions:

  • Salary during the language course and employment as Radiology Assistant: SEK 29,700/month
    Newly graduated Radiology Technicians without experience: SEK 30,000/month
  • Final salary is set individually depending on experience and responsibilities.
  • Working hours include emergency and elective examinations, with evening on-call duties about one night per week(30-minute response time). A driver’s license or living centrally in Bollnäs is recommended.

Requirements:

  • Radiology Technician degree recognized within the EU
  • Conversational English
  • Willingness to complete the intensive Swedish language course
  • Collaboration skills and enjoyment of teamwork


Main responsibilities:

  • Independently and collaboratively carry out high-quality radiology examinations (skeletal radiography, CT, and potentially MRI in the future)
  • Contribute to comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in both emergency and planned examinations
  • Work with cross-professional teams including radiologists, assistant nurses, administrative staff, primary care, inpatient care, emergency department, and private healthcare providers
  • Work across both Bollnäs and Söderhamn Radiology Departments
