Our main tasks are patient care, education of health care professionals, patient education and research. Division of Adult Mental Health Care Mental illness can affect almost all families at some point. Division of Adult Mental Health Care treats roughly 10,000 patients every year. Our patients present with all types of mental illness, and include children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. We are keen to provide help at an early stage - whether it be a matter of anxiety, depression, eating disorder, psychosis, or some other disorder. Modern psychiatry has many effective paths of treatment, and those we prefer include therapeutic conversation and group therapy.

Your profile
We are looking for a competent specialist in psychiatry. Candidates need good communication skills and work well with colleagues and staff in a multidisciplinary way.. Candidates must be able to guide and supervise physicians in specialization and must actively participate in the department's in-house training for the various professional groups. The department is looking specifically for specialists with experience in general psychiatry. Interest in or desire for specialization in special areas is desirable.
