Region Blekinge is looking for a Specialist Physician or Senior Physician in Anesthesia to join Thoraxcentrum!

The Thoracic Centre provides highly specialised cardiac and lung surgical care, along with care in invasive electrophysiology, pacemakers, ICD/CRT, invasive cardiology/PCI and TAVI.

The clinic has around 200 employees working in healthcare, intensive care and X-ray wards as well as in reception and surgical operations, with both acute and planned activities.

The work consists of the usual tasks for specialist doctors in thoracic anesthesia, with service at Thiva (Thoracic Intensive Care Division), Surgery and On-call Surgery.

Thoracic anesthesiologists, thoracic surgeons, cardiologists and thoracic radiologists all work here, in a professional knowledge organisation characterised by high quality of care, willingness to develop, responsibility and participation.

Requirements

Specialist physician in anesthesia, educated in the EU, EEA or Switzerland.

It is a merit to have worked as a thoracic anesthesiologist, or alternatively to have a few years of experience working as an anesthesiologist.

A stable person with good collaboration skills and a structured way of working.

On-call competence is an advantage.
