FRS are pleased to announce and exciting opportunity for a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist to work as part of the newly set up Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT). Our client is a long-established voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community-based services to people with an intellectual disability in the West Dublin area.

My client is seeking a flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join their newly established CDNT to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centered Occupational Therapy service to children and young people (0 - 18 years) with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and be a positive influence at an exciting time in a newly established service.

This is a full time/permanent contract

HSE Salary Pay Scale: 37,522-54,569 (Depending on Experience)

Location: Dublin

Role: Basic Grade Occupational Therapist (CDNT)

Contract: Full-Time/Permanent

Essential Criteria

• Hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Occupational Therapists
• Registration Board at CORU.
• Practitioners must maintain annual CORU registration.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and team work skills
• Effective planning, organisational and time management skills
  Relevant ICT skills
   

Desirable Criteria

• Experience of inter-disciplinary team working.
• Evidence of participation in continuous professional development.
• Knowledge of all the relevant children and disability-related legislation and standards of practice.
• Have a full driving license and access to a car.
• Experience of working with children and adolescents with a range of disabilities
