It is a modern emergency hospital and one of the largest county hospitals in Sweden. The Medical and Geriatric Clinic has a history of innovative, systematicand evidence-based quality work with a strong patient focus.The medical and geriatric clinic has a county district responsibility to meet the need for both basic and highly specialized internal medicineand geriatric care for the residents of the healthcare area.

Main responsibilities and expectations 

•The cardiology department is a part of the medicine and geriatric clinic at the hospital. As a cardiologist, your work varies between the cardiac department, the cardiac intensive care unit and the outpatient care.

•You will meet with a broad group of cardiology patients, allowing you to use many different parts of your competence, including work tests and echocardiographic examinations, which are done in collaboration with the clinical physiology department.

What’s expected of you 

•Required approved specialist training in the field of cardiology and internal medicine.

•Five years or more as a cardiologist.

•Time in internal medicine specialty not decisive.

•To be flexible, responsible and team player.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
