Our client is a health centre called Maison Médicale with four offices, currently employing one family doctor, three nurses and one dentist. The Maison Médicale is located in a village with a population of 3.000, serving a total population of 12.000 inhabitants. The village is located approximately 65 kilometres from Mulhouse (which has an airport) and 175 kilometres from Strasbourg, 150 km from Dijon. Undulating countryside, popular with walkers and cyclists.

Organisation and activity:
To meet the needs of the population, and in the context of the retirement of two family doctors in the geographical area, our client is looking to recruit family doctors.
Activity:
Population aged >60: 28%, of which 9.8% are over 75
Population aged <15: 18%
Typical GP activity (diverse population – children, working adults, elderly), chronic and acute conditions.
Diabetes consultations: 7% / Cancer: 4% / Coronary disease: 2.4% / Heart failure: 2.4%
Open consultation type consultations: 1 night per month from 8 p.m. to midnight and 2 weekends per year from 8 a.m. to midnight
The influx of users to the Emergency Consultations is triaged by the emergency services.
Conditions:
Strong earning potential – €150,000 to €220,000 gross per year, depending on the number of consultations and objectives of the French Social Security (approximately €8,000 net after business expenses and deductions).
Consulting room rental: €550/month – Exemption from payment for 2 years + operating expenses:
water/electricity/internet
Administrative Secretariat: €2,500/month for one full-time employee, the cost of which can be shared among all the professionals at the ‘Maison Médicale’, who can manage schedules and administrative work.

Total exemption from income tax for the first 5 years of activity and partial exemption for the following 3 years
(6th year pays income tax on 25% of net income, 7th year on 50% and 8th year on 75%)

FREE assistance with the registration process with the French Medical Association.
Application requirements:
Doctor with a degree in Medicine and specialisation in General Practice completed in the EU.
Solid knowledge of French (already acquired or currently learning) or willingness to learn the language.
