ABOUT THE REGION 

The region has three emergency hospitals. The county also operates healthcare centres, dental clinics, child healthcare clinics, family clinics and women's health clinics. We all work towards our vision, “For a good life in an attractive region”. In several surveys, our hospitals have been ranked among the best in Sweden.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The department treats children from 0-17 years. There is a 24/7 inpatient care unit and an anorexia unit with outpatient care. The county has three child and adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinics. The clinics have doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, assistant nurses, etc. At the moment, there are 17 doctors, and 11 are specialists.

Main responsibilities and expectations

•The work includes assessing and treating child and adolescent psychiatric with types of diagnoses.

What’s expected of you

•To be a specialist in child - and adolescent psychiatry, recognized in the EU.

•EU-citizenship or long-term residency in the EU. •Be able to complete the intensive language course organized by MediCarrera.

•To have competence in psychotherapy is an advantage.

•To own a driver's license.

•To have good computer skills.

•Interested in teamwork and willing to participate in the development of the clinic.

• You receive an information package with practical details and a contact person to call in case of any problems. 

**The salary indicated is only for the trial period, then, the salary will be decided by the hospital after the trial period.
