ABOUT THE REGION 

The town is situated in the southern part of Sweden and near a immense lake.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

There are approximately 300 employees and the clinic consist of clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine, and clinical pathology and cytology. They also operate at 19 health centre laboratories in the county. The work is based on best practices and national and international guidelines in order to deliver the best possible diagnostics.

Main responsibilities and expectations

• Knowledge and experience with daily operational work at the laboratory, method development, quality monitoring, improvement work, procurements, supervision, training of employees and students are needed for you to thrive with the hospital.

• Licensed doctor with specialist competence in clinical chemistry or other laboratory diagnostic specialty or internal medicine. 4 – 5 years of experience.

• Easy to collaborate with others, positive attitude and flexible.

• Previous experience in clinical chemistry as well as knowledge in chromatography and autoimmunity is desirable.
