Bologna Health Jobs Ireland is seeking a General Surgery Specialist for a one of the most important  hospital in Ireland.

This candidate will be part of the consultant team and will be a key member of the department. Therefore, they will hold a leadership position and operate with full autonomy. They will oversee all decisions made by their team and report to the hospital's Clinical Director.

Experience in the gastrointestinal tract and other subspecialties is required.

The gross base salary is €235,000-€283,500 gross per year, plus €40,000 for on-call shifts, with the potential to earn up to €320,000 gross per year.

- 30 days of annual leave + 10 days of vacation.

Requirements:

- For consultants, a minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience (after primary medical qualification) in the medical profession is required, of which at least 5 years must be dedicated to general surgery (including residency).

- Availability within two months.

- Very high level of English (B2-C1).

- Must be registered with the IMC. We will assist all candidates with registration if they are not already registered. We are one of the few agencies that review all your documents for this purpose, both for IMC registration and for the documentation required to begin working in a hospital. We will assist the candidate in various aspects, such as creating a strong CV, preparing for interviews, and ensuring their experience is recognized so they receive the appropriate salary. All consultant candidates who are not registered must be qualified as specialists in GENERAL SURGERY in the European Union (no CV will be considered without this requirement) or, alternatively, must hold a specialist qualification recognized in an EU Member State and have practiced for three years from the date of recognition if they are from outside the EU.
