A model 4 HSE hospital in south of Ireland is seeking a consultant in haematology (clinical and laboratory).
This position represents an excellent opportunity to work in one of the most prosperous countries in the EU, where significant investment is made in public healthcare, with stable, long-term contracts.
The department is organized as follows:
• 4 weekly consultations in:
Malignant Hematology
General Hematology
General Hematology
General Hematology
• Fridays: Oncology consultations
• Inpatient consultations
Laboratory management will also be involved.
- Benefits:
• Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of renewal and subsequent permanent contract.
• Approximate net monthly salary of €910,00-€12,000 (new Collective Bargaining Agreement 2023 - new salary scale February 26 - €235.5-€283.5K gross annual salary + on-call pay).
On calls off site
• 30 working days of annual vacation for hematologists, plus public holidays (10 per year).
Up to €12,000 for funding studies (Master's, etc.).
• Up to €8,000 annually for innovation projects.
• Includes an attractive pension plan.
Requirements:
1. Must be a hematology specialist in a European Union country to apply as a consultant. Registration with the IMC Specialist Register is required; we will assist you with the process if you are not already registered. Please note that the process can take 4-5 months.
2. Advanced level of English (C1) in both spoken and written English.
3. Strong motivation to work as a physician in Ireland as soon as possible.
4. Extensive knowledge of clinical and laboratory hematology.
