Bologna Health Jobs Ireland, with more than 15 years , working in collaboration with the HSE, actively seeks 2 CONSULTANT in  neurology with a special interest in dementia.

Functions :

As a  Consultant you are  the most senior doctor within your  specialty and you are responsible for leading patient care and making final clinical decisions. You will  supervise Registrars, SHOs and Interns, and work closely with nursing and multidisciplinary teams. You will practice independently but  you will  report to the Clinical Director and Hospital Management. You will  also participate in teaching, service development, and On call off site.

One of the tasks is  to implement the Model of Care (MOC) for dementia in Ireland, according to the Corporate Plan 2020-2023 and the National HSE Service Plan. This model is based on the diagnostic and post-diagnostic projects of the National Dementia Office (2017-2019).

Requirements:

- Doctor specializing in neurology in the EU (consultant).

Between 5 and 10 years of experience in neurology, caring for highly complex patients.

Experience in dementia

If you come from outside the EU with the specialist training accredited in any country of the EU , a minimum of three years of experience  in the EU is required after this accreditation. This requirement is essential to join the IMC

Motivation to travel to Ireland, once the IMC  is obtained.

Benefits:

Contracts between 1 year and two years + indefinite contract. Monthly salary for specialists, up to €12,000 per month, depending on experience (from 235- 283 K per year)+ on calls. New salary applicable since February 26
