Bologna Health Jobs Ireland, an HSE-authorized company with over 15 years of experience, is actively seeking a Paediatric Neurologist with extensive experience in neurology for one of the leading hospitals in Southern Ireland.

As a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions in children, from newborns to adolescents.

Responsibilities: A significant part of the role involves seeing patients referred by:

• General Paediatricians

• Neonatologists

• Primary Care Physicians

• Other hospitals

Primarily on-call shifts, you will participate in urgent Paediatric Neurology care and advise the Paediatric Emergency Department and the PICU when neurological issues arise.

As a consultant, you will be one of the key leaders in the department and will be expected to work with relative autonomy.

Requirements:

Between 5 and 10 years of experience in hospitals in the paediatric department, treating complex patients.

For physicians with studies completed outside the EU, a minimum of three years of experience is required if their specialty or medical degree has been validated in any country of the EU .

B2-C1 level of English.

Strong motivation to relocate to Ireland once the IMC has been obtained.

Benefits:

One-year contract with the possibility of extension and permanent status.

Monthly salary from €236,000 gross per year to €286,500 + €40,000 for on-call shifts.
