ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

• The hospital functions both as a county hospital for the whole region and as a local hospital.

• The healthcare centers are knowledge-based and appropriate, personalized, efficient, and equal. The hospitals work with person-centered care based on the needs of the individual patient.

• The largest patient groups are cardiology (including pacemaker patients), stroke, diabetes, gastroenterology, and hematology patients.
