Internal Medicine Specialist – 12-Month Opportunity in Iceland
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Specialist for an exciting 12-month position in Iceland.

This role offers the opportunity to work with patients who have complex medical needs in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. You will apply and further develop your broad internal medicine expertise while collaborating closely with experienced healthcare professionals.

Previous experience in addiction medicine is not required. We welcome applications from internal medicine specialists who are interested in a new professional challenge and would like to broaden their clinical experience in a supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with diverse and complex health conditions.
• Management of patients with multiple coexisting medical needs.
• Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participation in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Specialist certification in Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility to obtain a medical license in Iceland.
• Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgement.
• Good English language skills.
