Main responsibilities and expectations
Your duties will include everything from acute cases to preventive
care and lifestyle issues. As a specialist in general medicine in
primary care, you will work together with other physicians, nurses,
and other professional categories.
Preventive work and home visits are part of the duties, as well as
among others child health care, elderly care, and health promotion
and/or quality-related work.
Working at the on-call clinic and emergency duty may be included in
the assignment.
Supervision of junior doctors may also be part of the assignment.
What’s expected of you
Specialist in family medicine.
Experience in supervising resident doctors is valued.
Experience in child health care, elderly care, and home care is
valued.
To be collaborative, responsible and have the ability work in a
structural way.
To be able to work both independently and in a team.
Ability to complete the intensive Swedish language course
(MediCarrera program) is required.
