Job Description

Main Responsibilities and Expectations:
 Your tasks will range from acute cases to preventive care and lifestyle counseling.

  • As a general medicine specialist in primary care, you will work alongside other patient-centered professionals, such as in nurse-led clinics.
  • In addition to clinic work, the position includes home care and opportunities to work in pediatric services, elderly care, health promotion, and/or quality improvement projects.
  • Shift work and availability for emergencies may be part of the assignment.
  • Supervising resident doctors could also be part of the role.

What is expected of you:

  •   Hold a medical degree and specialist title issued or recognized by the European Union.
  • Be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.
  • Hold a driving license.
  • Have a professional attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be collaborative, responsible, and capable of working in a structured manner with an awareness of quality.
  • Have social competence, interest, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
