Family Medicine Specialists – Primary Care Positions in Southeastern Sweden

MediCarrera is currently offering exciting opportunities for Family Medicine specialists at a Primary Care Centrelocated in the southeastern region of Sweden.

 
Free Swedish Language Course (Included in the Program)
To help you integrate both professionally and personally, MediCarrera offers an intensive Swedish language course with two flexible options:

1) On-site course:

• Free apartment for you and your family
• All expenses covered
• Daycare/language course for children
• Monthly scholarship of €1,000

2) Online course (for you and your partner):

• Monthly scholarship of €1,200
   
  About the Role
  Swedish primary care delivers comprehensive, patient-centered services across all age groups. Centers focus on needs-based care including diagnosis, treatment, nursing, counseling, and follow-up, while also playing an active role in disease prevention according to national health guidelines.

 
Main Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of cases, from acute conditions to preventive care and lifestyle guidance
• Work collaboratively with nurse-led clinics and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in home care, child health services, elderly care, health promotion, and/or quality improvement initiatives
• Potential on-call shifts and emergency duties
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors or trainees
   
  Requirements
• Medical and Family Medicine specialty degrees issued or recognized by an EU country
• Commitment to completing MediCarrera’s Swedish language program
• Professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently with a structured and quality-driven approach
   
  Salary and Conditions
• Salary: Approximately €7,000/month
• After 12 months: Individual salary negotiation as a District Doctor based on performance and experience
• Additional compensation may be offered for on-call duties or expanded responsibilities
