ABOUT THE REGION

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The gastroenterology department at the hospital offers endoscopy examinations and gastrointestinal surgery with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease and medical liver diseases. The clinic also provides ultrasound for abdominal scans and elastography. The department is part of the hospital's medicine clinic, which oversees internal medicine care.

Main responsibilities and expectations

  • You will join the specialized medicine clinic at Arvika Hospital, which provides comprehensive care for patients with internal medicine conditions in the gastroenterology section.

What's expected of you

  • To have a gastroenterology specialist title issued or recognized by the European Union.
  • Possessing specialization or knowledge in general internal medicine is an added advantage.
  • Independent endoscopist regarding gastro- and colonoscopy Willing to participate in on-call activities within internal medicine.
  • A valid driver's license is a requirement for the job.
  • To show interest in teamwork and be willing to contribute to the clinic's development.  
  • To be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course as part of the MediCarrera program.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
