About the Organization
The Endoscopy Unit at Central Hospital Karlstad performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. The team works in a collaborative environment with gastroenterologists, nurses, and support staff, providing both planned and emergency endoscopic care.

About the Role

• Work hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (on-call duties negotiable)
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy, including outpatient procedures and emergency cases
• Participate in polyp conferences, consultations, and multidisciplinary team meetings

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Assess referrals and manage consultation requests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Contribute to clinical development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Specialist certification in Gastroenterology recognized in the EU
• Experience in GI endoscopy
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Commitment to complete MediCarrera’s intensive Swedish language program

Salary and Conditions (2025)

• Starting salary: approx. €7,000/month (gross), adjusted according to experience
• On-call duties compensated separately
