ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
The Hospital is located in the southern part of the Region of Southern Denmark with activities spread out in mainly two cities. The hospital covers an area of approximately 225,000 inhabitants. The hospital is structured in 21 departments - clinics and subunits such as outpatient departments, wards, laboratories etc. Furthermore, there is an administration unit with staff departments (the quality department, the finance department, and the HR department), an IT department, and a “project department of hospital construction”. The hospital has approx 2600 employees. It has approximately 302 beds and almost 430,000 inpatients and outpatients receive treatment every year.
Main responsibilities and expectations
You will play a key role in the further development of the department and will primarily be responsible for gastro medicine, but also have internal medicine tasks. Responsibility for the efficient use of the department's resources. Ensure implementation of the department's strategy, including new treatment initiatives. Ensure daily operations and demonstrate management responsibility. Training of junior doctors and other staff. Communicate new subject-specific knowledge and ensure that it is implemented in the department. Participate in the department's teaching and patient schools. Ensure the implementation of research projects. Commit to personal continuous educational activity (lifelong learning).

Basic Requirements
*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.
* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.
In case you are not an EU citizen:
* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.
* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.
* Long term residency from an EU country.
