Job Description

A Smooth Start as a Dentist in the Netherlands, in 5 Steps

Emigrating to another country can be challenging, with different languages, laws, and procedures. At Orange Chapter, we understand these challenges and offer intensive guidance to make your transition smooth and enjoyable. Here's how we turn this process into a fun adventure:

With Us:

You won't be alone
You'll earn your own living from the start
You'll follow a clear, well-thought-out 5-step process

CHAPTER 1: THE PREPARATION

Dentists are welcome here, but the doors of dental practices will only really open to you if you speak the Dutch language. To see if you’re up for the transition to the Netherlands, you will undergo an on-line intake interview with one of our professionals. If they give you the green light, that’s when the real adventure kicks off!

CHAPTER 2: OFF TO A STRONG START

At Orange Chapter, we are flexible, and we work with your specific needs, so we offer you multiple pathways to learn Dutch. You can either participate in group sessions on-site, explore online alternatives, or do a hybrid of both!

At Orange Chapter we cover all the expenses of your on-site accommodation, and if you choose the online option, you can rest assured that you will be financially sound, as we offer an allowance of €1000 monthly, so you can focus solely on the language course. Regardless of your choice, our intensive training program ensures you’ll be fully equipped for your Dutch adventure.

CHAPTER 3: WORK HARD, PLAY HARD

When we receive feedback from our language professionals about when you complete the course, we will start looking for the right job for you. You come to the Netherlands and are offered housing that suits you. We cover the cost of housing and living expenses and we help you with all the administrative procedures and formalities involved in your legal transition to the Netherlands.

CHAPTER 4: AN EXCITING NEW JOB

We will place you with an employer that suits you well within 4 months of registering in the Netherlands. Once you sign a contract, we will also help you take advantage of the beneficial expat ruling- this allows you to earn up to 30% tax-free. Your starting salary will be anywhere between €4500 and €6000!

CHAPTER 5: INDEPENDENCE

Now that you are employed and have a steady income, your only worry should be your next fun adventure! At this point, you will be comfortably settled, and you will be familiar with the typical Dutch word ‘gezellig’ and all that it entails.
Although your journey comes to an end, you remain part of the Orange Chapter family and hopefully join us for the many events and Friday borrels organized at our office building. Cheers and welcome to the Netherlands! Cheers and welcome to the Netherlands!
