The geriatric mobile home in Torsby, Värmland is looking for a specialist doctor in geriatrics.

The mobile home care doctor serves as a designated care contact. Care is coordinated around individuals with extensive healthcare and support needs, in collaboration with municipal health and medical care, the mobile primary care team, and the palliative care team based at Torsby Hospital. This enables individuals to receive appropriate care at home at various levels of care. The role also includes responsibility for special housing facilities and, in some cases, short-term care placements. Duties include, among other things, annual check-ups, medication reviews, medical care plans, and pivotal conversations focused on symptom relief. By meeting the individual in their home, it becomes possible to conduct a comprehensive assessment in collaboration with the individual, their relatives, and the municipal nurse. Mobile home care is designed to be tailored to the individual’s needs and circumstances

Conditions

• Salary for new specialists (with no experience): 70,000 SEK/month (€6,152) gross.
• Average salary for experienced specialists: 80,000–110,000 SEK/month (€7,000–€9,600) gross, with duties paid separately.
