Job Description

MediCarrera offers one position for an Internal Medicine Physician at a distinguished public hospital located in central Sweden. Swedish healthcare is known for its high quality and adherence to strict regulations and quality standards. The hospital is open around the clock and offers both emergency care and specialized treatments.The emergency and outpatient clinic for all specialties is housed in modern, patient-centered premises. The hospital is dedicated to a flow-oriented approach based on patient needs, with the vision "to create a hospital where we can imagine ourselves being patients. Activities are carried out in medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology,anaesthesia, surgery and intensive care, radiology, laboratory, physiotherapy,occupational therapy and palliative care.

Main responsibilities and expectations

  • Participate in all clinical duties, including on-call, departmental work, and outpatient care.
  • Manage a diverse range of internal medicine conditions.
  • Supervise and train junior doctors, contributing to their professional development.


Requirements:

  • Medical and specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union.
  • A strong interest in teamwork and a willingness to contribute to the clinic's ongoing development.
  • Ability and willingness to complete the intensive Swedish language course provided by MediCarrera.

Salary and conditions:

  • The average salary for a specialist doctor in Sweden is between
    80.000 and 110.000 sek/month (7000-9600€) gross, duties
    paid separately.
  • The salary is set individually according to
    specialist’s years of experience.
