Responsibilities as residential carer (Living with the client)

• Medication reminders
• Prepare and Serve Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and light Snacks )
• Assist with Getting Up and Going to Bed
• Ability to work with Dementia and Alzheimer clients -Personal Care (Assist with Bathing and Showering)
• Assist with Walking and Exercises -Provide Companionship
• Engage in Reminiscence Activities Board Games, Cards, Puzzles
• Care of People with Disabilities & Chronic Health Conditions -Other High Dependency Care

Requirements

• Must be willing to provide "Personal Care Assistance" (Assist with Bathing and Showering, incontinence care).
• Good English communication.
• QQI level 5 /Diploma/ Degree in Health care/ Elderly care// Nursing assistance.
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Previous 1 year min work experience in related field (I.e. Home Care, Nursing home, Hospital, Rehabilitation Centre)
• Should be a European Citizen and Passport Holder

Job Types: Permanent, Specified-purpose

Salary: €12.50 Monday to Friday and €14.00 per hour on Saturday and Sunday
