ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The Radiology Department is a critical component of the hospital's diagnostic and therapeutic services. Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technologies, the department offers a comprehensive suite of radiological services to support the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. These services include conventional X-ray imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine. The department is staffed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, and support personnel who work collaboratively to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Their expertise covers a broad spectrum of radiological subspecialties, enabling them to provide specialized imaging services for orthopedics, oncology, neurology, and cardiovascular conditions, among others. In addition to its diagnostic role, the hospital is actively involved in research and education, contributing to the advancement of radiological sciences and the training of the next generation of healthcare professionals. The department's commitment to excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement makes it a vital resource for both the hospital and the community it serves.

Main responsibilities and expectations 

You must be able to review mammography images, and tomosynthesis images and perform ultrasounds. Be able to perform investigations of breast changes including punctures and biopsies with ultrasound and stereotactic guidance. Experience in MRI breast examination is an advantage. You actively participate in multidisciplinary conferences and supervise doctors on specialist duty.

You have a lot of contact with patients and collaborate with other staff in the breast process.

As you work closely with your colleagues, it is important that you have good cooperation skills, communication and confidence in your professional role.

To have medical and specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union.

To show interest in teamwork and be willing to contribute to the clinic's development.

To be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
