Job Description

Medicarrera offers a position for a Neuroradiologist in southern Sweden. This university hospital, renowned for its outstanding reputation, actively participates in medical research and education.

Main Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Diagnosis using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) for acute and chronic conditions in the central and peripheral nervous systems, as well as in the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) area.
  • Conducting itinerant activities and participating in multidisciplinary conferences.
    Teaching residents and medical students.


What Is Expected of You

  • Hold medical and specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union. Subspecialization in neuroradiology is required.
  • Be collaborative and a team player.
  • Experience with neck ultrasound is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ability to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.


Salary and Conditions

  • Start employment with Swedish B2 level as an assistant during the introductory phase.
    Minimum salary for a new specialist: 70,000 SEK/month.
  • The average salary for specialist doctors in Sweden ranges between 80,000 and 110,000 SEK/month (7,000–9,600€) gross, with duties paid separately.
  • Salary is determined individually based on the specialist's years of experience.
