Our client is looking for highly motivated Pre-OSCE Ward Nursing Assistant who are looking to obtain an NMC PIN to join their teams in private hospitals in Scotland.You will play a key role in providing high quality care for patients and service users based on current evidence of best practice.

Package:

Salary of £25k plus benefits

  • Exam training for Computer Based Training (CBT) if required.
  • Tier 2 Visa certificate of sponsorship
  • Air travel to the UK covered
  • 3 months free accommodation and induction/orientation
  • OCSE exam within 3 months and then NMC PIN application
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Comprehensive induction, and on-going training and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote health and healing through observing, and monitoring well-being, then by evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided.
  • Preventing illness and injury partly through educating patients and service users.
  • Ensuring their patient’s needs are met through liaising with multidisciplinary team members including specialist nurses, doctors, physios, occupational therapists, and social workers as well as overseeing healthcare assistants, nursing associates, and students.
  • Responsible for providing excellent care for their patients using knowledge and skill based on up-to-date research and developed through ongoing training.
  • Working with the healthcare assistants or carers to look after patients/residents by monitoring their well-being including checking vital signs such as levels of consciousness, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and indications of pain.
  • Give medications or infusions to their patients as prescribed.

Requirements:

  • GNM/BSc Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 1-2 years practical Ward Nursing experience
  • 6 month's Nursing experience within the last 24 months
  • Current registration or licence with a recognised nursing body
  • Not from a Red List country
  • NMC registration
  • CBT completed (preferred)
  • IELTS with an overall score of at least 7 with at least 6.5 in the writing section and at least 7 in the reading, listening, and speaking sections OR OET with at least a grade C+ in the writing section and at least a grade B in the reading, listening, and speaking sections.
