Job Description

MediCarrera offers an exciting opportunity for oncologists to join the oncology department at a public hospital in Karlskrona, Southern Sweden. The department provides specialized cancer care in close collaboration with other clinical units and regional hospitals, within a structured and well-organized healthcare system.

 What we offer:

  • Free online preparatory and intensive Swedish language course for you and your partner.
  • Monthly scholarship of €1,200 during the intensive Swedish language course.
  • A free visit to Karlskrona before relocation to meet colleagues and become familiar with the workplace.

  • Coordination of the relocation process with a professional moving company.
  • An information package and a dedicated contact person throughout the process.
     

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently manage oncology outpatient clinics.
  • Assess patients, plan treatments, and conduct follow-ups, including chemotherapy and toxicity evaluations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate closely with other specialties.
  • Contribute to high-quality, structured, and patient-focused oncological care.
  • Support and supervise junior doctors as part of daily clinical work.
     

Requirements:

  • Recognized specialist certification in Medical or Clinical Oncology (EU).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a specialist oncologist.
  • Experience in one or more oncology areas such as breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, melanoma, or urological cancer.
  • Good command of English.
  • Motivation and commitment to complete the Swedish language program.
