ABOUT THE REGION

The province is located southwest of Stockholm, a unique spot conveniently located near Stockholm. It is mainly known for its numerous castles, manor houses, and impressive archipelago.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

There are several positions in two cities in the Region.

Main responsibilities and expectations

•As a specialist in oncology, you will be involved in assessing patients (newly detected cancer cases) at the Multidisciplinary Team.

•You may see and assess patients before and during oncological treatment (radiotherapy or systemic therapy). •You may direct and distribute the work of a care unit.

•You may draw targets, participate and assess on target rounds, dose planning.

•It is an advantage if you can participate in MDK for some diagnoses also as a radiation doctor and if you have competence for departmental work.

What’s expected of you

•Specialist in Medical Oncology and/or Radiation Oncology.

•Be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.

  • You receive an information package with practical details and a contact person to call in case of any problems.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
