ABOUT THE REGION

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in the city is one of three specialist clinics in the county. The clinic has a wellestablished practice and a clear mission within outpatient care for paediatric and adolescent medicine. Their work includes advising, examining, and treating children and young people between the ages of 0 to 17 years. Within the region, children aged 0 to 1 year have their primary level of care in specialist care.

Main responsibilities and expectations

You will be required to work according to the centre's established flows, memos, and procedures. Additionally, you will be expected to be actively involved in developing and improving these processes as needed.

You will be responsible for providing supervision to medical candidates and residents in general medicine and paediatrics as part of your work at the clinic. This will be an important aspect of your role as a paedriatic specialist.

What's expected of you 

To have a paediatric specialist title issued or recognized by the European Union.

To have experience and be able to handle emergencies safely and acutely ill newborn babies in connection with deliveries.

To be child-centred and involve children and parents in care and treatment processes.

To show interest in teamwork and be willing to contribute to the clinic's development.

To be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course as part of the MediCarrera program.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
