ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

Sahlgrenska University Hospital is one of the country's leading university hospitals that provides everything from county healthcare to national highly specialised care. Sahlgrenska University Hospital, clinical pathology, consists of three laboratories (Sahlgrenska, Borås and NÄL / Trollhättan). It has about 100,000 samples per year, and there are diagnostics in most subspecialized organ areas. 

Main responsibilities and expectations:

• The hospital is looking for specialists both for Sahlgrenska as well as for Borås and NÄL / Trollhättan.
• The priority competencies are in cytology, both analysis of submitted material, including cervical screening and diagnostics via puncture surgery.
• Other also sought competencies are dermatopathology, gynaecological pathology, breast pathology, and neuropathology.

What’s expected of you

• To be a specialist in Pathology / Cytology.
• To have preferably at least three years of experience as specialists in their field
