The University Hospital of Sahlgrenska is offering four positions in clinical pathology!

ABOUT THE REGION

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

Sahlgrenska University Hospital, clinical pathology, consists of three laboratories (Sahlgrenska, Borås and NÄL/Trollhättan). The hospital has about 100,000 samples per year and there are diagnostics in most subspecialized organ areas represented. The specialists will be working in the Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg city.

Main Responsibilities and Expectations

  • You are expected to have prioritized competencies in cytology, both analysis of submitted material including cervical screening and diagnostics via puncture reception.
  • Skills in gastrointestinal pathology, gynaecological pathology, breast pathology, liver pathology, ENT pathology and neuropathology are also sought.

What's expected of you

  • Specialist doctors with Clinical Pathology and Cytology, preferably with at least three years' experience as specialists in their field.
  • To be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.
