We are currently recruiting for a Senior Director – Nursing Oncology on behalf of a leading tertiary healthcare organisation in Saudi Arabia. The Role
As Senior Director – Nursing Oncology, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Oncology Nursing Division, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. You will work closely with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams to develop clinical strategies, improve service delivery, manage departmental performance, and support the ongoing development of nursing staff.
This role requires an experienced healthcare leader with a strong background in oncology nursing, workforce planning, quality improvement, budgeting, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Oncology Nursing Division.
Lead and mentor nursing managers while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programmes, and evidence-based practice.
Develop and monitor departmental objectives, operational plans, budgets, and key performance indicators.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with recognised international healthcare accreditation and quality standards.
Support workforce planning, recruitment, staff development, succession planning, and professional education.
Promote innovation, research, and continuous service improvement across the department.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Master's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline (Doctorate preferred).
Minimum 11 years of post-registration clinical experience.
At least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership or management role.
Strong Oncology Nursing background gained within a 350+ bed accredited hospital.
Current professional nursing licence.
Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership, financial management, quality improvement, and operational management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with fluency in English.
