ABOUT THE REGION 

It is a county on the south western coast of Sweden. The county is the second most populated of Sweden's counties, and it comprises 49 municipalities. Its population of 1,616,000 amounts to 17% of Sweden's population.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The inpatient clinic has 64 beds. Forensic psychiatry which is located in different location has 24 beds. They also have out patient clinics in different four cities but the most need is still in the three smaller places.

Main responsibilities and expectations

• You will work in adult psychiatric outpatient care with on-call duty.

• You will supervise junior colleagues.

• You will be responsible for treating adult patients with psychiatric conditions at the specialist level, e.g. affective syndromes, psychotic disorders, severe addictions, personality disorders and neuropsychiatric disorders.

• You will participate in research, which is an excellent opportunity for clinical improvement work.

• The hospital outpatient clinics are in four locations, but the greatest need is in the smaller clinics.
