ABOUT THE REGION

It is a county on the south western coast of Sweden. The county is the second most populated of Sweden's counties, and it comprises 49 municipalities. Its population of 1,616,000 amounts to 17% of Sweden's population.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The inpatient clinic has 64 beds. Forensic psychiatry has 24 beds. They also have out patient clinics in four different cities.

Main responsibilities and expectations 

•You will work in adult psychiatric outpatient care with on-call duty.

•You will supervise junior colleagues.

•You will be responsible for treating adult patients with psychiatric conditions at the specialist level, e.g. affective syndromes, psychotic disorders, severe addictions, personality disorders and neuropsychiatric disorders.

•You will participate in research, which is an excellent opportunity for clinical improvement work.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
