Job Description

MediCarrera is currently offering opportunities for Pulmonologists in the region of Skåne, Sweden.

Free Swedish Language Training (Included in the Program)
An intensive online Swedish course is provided for you and your partner, fully sponsored by MediCarrera. During the language training period, you’ll receive a monthly scholarship of €1,200.

 About the Hospital
The Pulmonology Department in Skåne provides comprehensive care for patients with respiratory diseases such as COPD, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer. The unit performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bronchoscopy and pleural interventions. The team consists of experienced pulmonologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals working in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

About the Role
Work hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (on-call duties negotiable)
The position involves inpatient and outpatient care, performing pulmonary diagnostics and interventions, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical development activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as bronchoscopy and pleural drainage
  • Manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
  • Collaborate with other medical specialists for patient management
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical development projects
  • Supervise and support junior doctors as needed

Requirements

  • Specialist certification in Pulmonology recognized within the EU
  • Experience in interventional procedures is an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to complete MediCarrera’s intensive Swedish language program


Salary and Conditions 

  • Starting salary: approximately €7,000/month (gross), depending on experience
  • On-call duties compensated separately
