We are now seeking a Pulmonology specialist who is used to investigating and treating patients with non-malignant lung diseases and investigating and treating different types of lung cancer according to European and Swedish guidelines.
The lung specialist has to be use to assess referrals that come to the department and can be a support and consultant for other specialties within the inpatient and outpatient care operations at the Hospital.
You as a colleague have worked in inpatient care with various lung patients and handle palliative care of the most seriously ill lung patients. You can and want to preform bronchoscopy. You are used to treating lung cancer with chemotherapy / immunotherapy and targeted therapy. You are also used to presenting and possibly has research experience or has done a master's or PhD (it is not a requirement)
Requirements for competence and experience
1 specialist doctors in Pulmonology with preferably 2 years’ work experience, experience in allergology, asthma and COPD, infection / inflammatory lung diseases or have experience in lung cancer investigation and treatment, also palliative medical experience is good to have. If it is a specialist in pulmonary medicine who has specialist competence in palliative medicine, then it is excellent!
