ABOUT THE REGION 

It is one of Sweden’s best-preserved wooden towns, with architecture and monuments spanning more than four centuries. It has existed as a town since the 15th century but was burnt to the ground in the mid-16th century. Most of the buildings you see now in the picturesque town centre were constructed after the town had been ravaged by fire, and since then it has largely been spared major fires. This means many of the present-day houses date from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Main responsibilities and expectations

Specialist in pulmonology and internal medicine. As a specialist / senior consultant at the medicine and geriatric clinic you will vary your work between in and outpatient care.

You will together with other specialists be responsible for in and outpatient pulmonology care.

You are also expected to care for hospitalized internal medicine patients. 

We conduct extensive diagnostic activities with some emphasis on cancer. We conduct advanced bronchoscopy operations with EBUS technology.

We have a large activity for oxygen treatment in the home.
