ABOUT THE HOSPITAL 

The hospital is a modern emergency hospital and one of the largest county hospitals in Sweden. The clinic conducts extensive diagnostic activities with some emphasis on cancer. They also conduct advanced bronchoscopy operations with EBUS technology. All investigation and treatment of lung cancer within the county occurs in close collaboration with the region where the lung section plays an important role.

Main expectations

• As a specialist / senior consultant at the medicine and geriatric clinic, you will vary your work between inpatient and outpatient care. Together with other specialists, you will be responsible for in and outpatient pulmonology care.

• You will be responsible for hospitalized internal medicine patients.

• There are opportunities to work with inpatient and outpatient care with a broad spectrum of pulmonary medicine.

What’s expected of you

• To be a specialist in pulmonology.

• The position includes caring for internal medicine patients as well, therefore the experience in internal medicine is an advantage.

• To be flexible, responsible and diligent.
