As a Radiology Nurse in Bollnäs, you will work both independently and as part of a cross-professional team together with radiologists, assistant nurses, and administrative staff. You will carry out
examinations of high quality and contribute to comprehensive care for patients. Your duties will mainly include skeletal radiography and CT examinations. In the future, MRI may also become part of your responsibilities. You will be involved in both emergency and planned examinations, which gives you a varied workday with different modalities.
The position also includes collaboration with primary care, inpatient care, the emergency department, and private healthcare providers. You may occasionally work at the Radiology Department in
Söderhamn, with travel time during working hours.
What is expected of you:
To hold a License as a technician in radiology/radiographer within the EU.
No clinical experience is strictly required since the radiographer will undergo an introduction period of about 3–6 months depending on prior experience. The aim of the introduction is to learn the
equipment, routines, methods, and working practices at Radiology Gävle.
Clinical experience in MRI is desirable.
To complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part
of the MediCarrera program.
