ABOUT THE CLINIC
The radiology clinic in Gävle performs many different types of examinations such as conventional radiology as abdomen, skeleton, lungs, CT, magnetic camera, Xray/intervention, ultrasound and MRI. At the radiology clinic, there are approximately 100 employees of which 34 are radiographers.
Schedule Day: evening and night shift with active work during the night as well. During the introduction time of 3-6 months (depending on previous experience) the schedule will be Monday – Friday 7.15 – 16.15. After the introduction, the schedule will include the evening shift and later weekend and night shifts. Night shifts include a special contract with other conditions. No duties.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
You will receive a well-developed introduction program of 3-6 months, during these months you get to learn about all the equipment and everything that is expected of a radiographer, routines, methods and way of working at the radiology clinic in Gävle.
A radiographer preforms different types of diagnostic examinations independently. During day time both planned and acute examinations are included in the daily work. The position also includes to assist doctors during some interventional treatments or during X-ray examinations. The clinic is open 24/7.

Basic Requirements
*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.
* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.
In case you are not an EU citizen:
* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.
