ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The radiology clinic in Gävle performs many different types of examinations such as conventional radiology as abdomen, skeleton, lungs, CT, magnetic camera, Xray / intervention, ultrasound and MRI. At the radiology clinic there are approximately 100 employees of which 34 are radiographers. 

Main responsibilities and expectations

• You will receive a well-developed introduction program of 3-6 months, during these months you get to learn about all the equipment and everything that is expected of a radiographer, routines, methods and way of working at the radiology clinic in Gävle.

• A radiographer performs different types of diagnostic examinations independently.

• During day time both planned and acute examinations are included in the daily work.

• The position also includes to assist doctors during some interventional treatments or during X-ray examinations. The clinic in Gävle is open 24/7.
