Main responsibilities and expectations

  • You will receive a well-developed introduction program of 8 months; during these months, you get to learn about all the equipment and everything expected of a radiographer. Varying tasks, as you will rotate on the different equipment.
  • A radiographer performs different types of diagnostic examinations independently. The position also includes assisting doctors during some interventional treatments or X-ray examinations.

Salary and Conditions

  • The clinic tries as much as possible to adapt the schedule for each employee's best but to have an equal work environment. There is a basic schedule that applies to all:
    • During eight weeks, you will work seven nights - three will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus one day during the weekend.
    • Evening/night shifts are from 14.30-01.00 and 01.00-07.00.
    • Daytime during the weekend is from 08.00 – 16.30.
  • Employment starts as an assistant nurse after reaching level B2 in the Swedish language. The first 14 weeks of work will be Monday – Friday, with an introduction combined with continued studies until level C1. The opening will be in the mornings and studies in the afternoons.
  • Salary during the introduction and until receiving a license to practice: 26.700 SEK / month.
  • The most common thing to receive your license after you reach the C1 level is to complement your education by spending 2-4 weeks at a somatic ward.
  • Start salary after receiving your license: 31.000 SEK / month.
