Job Description

Region Jönköping is seeking specialist radiologists with competence in breast radiology to join the Mammography Unit, which is part of the Radiology Clinic within Region Jönköping County.

The Mammography Unit is part of a regional radiology clinic equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology, including Sectra PACS and Transpara AI. The clinic is highly regarded and recognized as one of the leading and most innovative radiology services in Sweden.

The clinic has a team of highly skilled radiology nurses and places a strong emphasis on quality, education, and continuous professional development. Requirements
Medical degree and specialist qualification in Radiology issued or recognized by a European Union member state.
Licensed specialist doctor in Radiology.
Completion of, or current specialist training in, Mammography/Breast Radiology.
At least two years of experience in mammography is highly desirable, as the role requires the ability to perform all duties within the mammography service.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as the position involves close cooperation with colleagues within the department and other clinical specialties.
Willingness to complete the intensive Swedish language course included in the MediCarrera program.
