Job Description

Medicarreras offers  two Radiologists positions  for a hospital in central  Sweden. The radiology department conducts around 24,000 diagnostic examinations each year using modern equipment, including MRI, CT scanners, ultrasound machines, and X-ray units (one with fluoroscopy). The department provides both emergency and planned radiology services and is currently being renovated to upgrade its equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, radiology nurses, and assistant nurses.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as conventional X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and fluoroscopy.
• Manage both emergency and routine radiology cases.

Requirements

• Experience with conventional X-rays, ultrasound, and CT.
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy and emergency radiology, including nephrostomy replacements.
• Strong teamwork, service-oriented approach, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and initiative in a dynamic work environment.
• Previous experience is desirable but not required.

Salary and Conditions

• Specialist in Radiology (permanent employment): Minimum 72,600 SEK/month.
• Work Schedule: Daytime shifts from Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend on-call duties are available.
