ABOUT THE REGION

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The county clinic is known for its modern premises and state-of-the-art equipment. Radiologists are preferably based in one town, where they work in their daily practice. Training and development initiatives are implemented throughout the entire county. The daily work routine does not significantly differ among these three locations. Voice-controlled dictation has been successfully utilized for many years, facilitating effective communication, even for doctors from abroad. The clinic has established itself as a well-functioning model and pioneer in Sweden. Education and training hold significant value, allowing radiologists to partake in courses and spend a week at a university clinic each year to further their professional growth.

Main responsibilities and expectations

•Radiologists are currently needed in three cities in the region.

•Angio-intervention and PET-CT/nuclear medicine are available at the Hospital in the city.

•On-call work.

What’s expected of you

•To have medical and Radiology specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union.

•To be able to conduct examinations in conventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT.

•To be able to perform basic interventions such as drain insertion and nephrectomies.

•Desirable but not required to have MRI skills, can be taught locally if necessary. Strong interpersonal skills for effective cooperation with internal teams and other clinics.

•Open and receptive to organizational improvements and personal development.

•To show interest in teamwork and be willing to contribute to the clinic's development.

•To be able to complete the intensive Swedish language course, which is part of the MediCarrera program.

You receive an information package with practical details and a contact person to call in case of any problems.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduate from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* After the title homologation, You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries.

* Long-term residency from an EU country.
