Job Description

 

Bologna Health Jobs Ireland, a company with over 15 years of experience in the Irish market, is seeking specialist physicians for 2026.

 

Start date: Within six months.

 

The contract duration varies, typically ranging from six months to one or two years. For two-year contracts, an international relocation package is available (subject to prior authorization). Permanent positions may also become available afterward.

There are two types of positions:

Consultants: These are senior leadership roles. Consultants act with complete autonomy, overseeing admissions, discharges, and all clinical decisions made by their team. They supervise Registrars and SHO physicians and report directly to the hospital’s Clinical Director. Off-site on-call duties 
Registrars: Candidates will work as key members of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a Consultant. Responsibilities include frontline care for a wide range of patients and supervision of junior staff. This role involves on-site shifts.
Salary:

Consultant Physicians: From 235 to €283K gross annually, reaching up to €320,000 including on-call duties 
Registrar Physicians: From 68 to €78Kgross annually, often exceeding €100,000 including on-call shifts.
Locations: Dublin area, Waterford, Cork, Kerry, Galway, Letterkenny, Naas, and others.

Requirements:

EU-accredited specialist qualification (for Consultant roles).
Verifiable prior experience.
Eligibility to register with the IMC (Bologna Health Jobs assists with this process).
Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
Medical degree recognized in the EU.
Flexibility and availability to work in Ireland for at least six months.
English level B2-C1 (OET or IELTS exam is required for registration).
We are seeking the following specialties:

Emergency Medicine: Experience in hospital settings with both adults and children (5-10 years of experience in high-complexity emergency departments required).
Hematology, Microbiology, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry,  Old age psychiatry, General Radiology, Neuroradiology, Interventional or Breast Radiology, Pathology.
Family & Community Medicine: €80/hour (EU citizenship or Stamp 4 required).
Respiratory Medicine, Oncology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Traumatology, general surgeon ( with experience in endoscopies) and Infectious Diseases.
