What is being offered?

  • A permanent contract with a 40-hour workweek, typically Monday to Friday.
  • Starting salary of approximately 75,000 SEK (gross), with opportunities for salary reviews after 8-12 months based on experience and independence.
  • Additional compensation for inconvenient working hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime).
  • Opportunities to supervise and mentor junior doctors, including residents and interns.

  • Relocation assistance, including help with finding housing and settling into Sweden.

  • An extensive, individualized free-of-charge online language training program in order to eventually reach C1 level in Swedish.

What does the job entail?

  • Provide high-quality care in general medicine, treating patients across all age groups and medical situations.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, helping them grow professionally.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside the management team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

What do we require from you?

  • A valid medical license as a Specialist Doctor in Family or General Medicine, recognized in the European Union.
  • At least one year of experience practicing independently after completing your specialization.
  • A commitment to completing a Swedish language course to reach a B2 level before relocating, with continued support to achieve C1 once in Sweden.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of professional environments.
