Join the team of dedicated specialists in Internal Medicine at a public hospital in Central/Western Sweden!

Located in the picturesque Central part of Sweden, this hospital is the primary emergency care provider, operating around the clock for the region. It boasts modern facilities that accommodate emergency and outpatient services across a variety of specialties. With a non-departmental, flow-oriented approach, the hospital is dedicated to meeting the needs of its patients. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, anaesthesia, intensive care, radiology, laboratory, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and palliative care. The surgical department provides both orthopaedic and general surgery, with expertise in endoscopic procedures. In addition, the hospital is equipped with a dialysis unit to support patients with specialized needs.

What is being offered?

  • Competitive salary: A base monthly salary starting from 67 000 SEK for a specialist without any experience. The average salary for specialist 
    doctors in Sweden is between 80-90.000 SEK. (The more years as a specialist, the higher the salary). A consultant doctor can even earn 90.000 SEK or more. Your final salary will be determined based on your skills and experience.

What do we expect from you?

  • You must hold a medical degree and a specialist qualification in Internal Medicine recognized in the European Union.
  • Experience and skills: You should have experience in working independently and a strong commitment to quality improvement.
  • Teamwork and communication: You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with your colleagues.
  • Dedication: you should be able to commit to and complete the intensive Swedish language course which we will offer to reach a B2 level, and continue learning until you achieve C1 level.

  • Contribute to the professional development of junior doctors by providing guidance and supervision.
