Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SUH) is the second-largest university hospital in Sweden, located in the Region of Västra Götaland in Western Sweden. Currently, we are seeking passionate and teamwork-oriented psychiatrists to join the dynamic team in Gothenburg, the second-largest city in Sweden. A new, specialized personality disorders unit at the university hospital offers a comprehensive, time-limited, and structured treatment program. Utilizing evidence-based methods like Unified Protocol, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mentalization-Based Therapy, Emotion Regulation Group Training, and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Therapy, the unit provides integrated care within a phased approach.

What is being offered?

• Competitive salary: A base monthly salary starting from approximately 7000 SEK. Your final salary will be determined based on your skills and experience.

What do we expect from you?

• You must hold a medical degree and a specialist qualification in Psychiatry recognized in the European Union.
• Experience and skills: You should have experience in independently preparing pathology reports and a strong commitment to quality improvement.
• Teamwork and communication: You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with your colleagues.
• Dedication: you should be able to commit to and complete the intensive Swedish language course which we will offer to reach a B2 level, and continue learning until you achieve C1 level.
